Preparation

1. Prepare the Oven

Preheat oven to 250°F.

Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

2. Make the Honey Habanero Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine:

  • Melted butter

  • Honey

  • Heat Street Detroit Honey Roasted Habanero Hot Sauce

  • Worcestershire sauce

  • Garlic powder

  • Onion powder

  • Smoked paprika

  • Chili powder

  • Black pepper

  • Salt

Whisk until completely combined and warmed through, about 2–3 minutes.

Do not boil. You want the sauce warm and pourable.

3. Combine the Crackers

Place the crackers, pretzels, and nuts, if using, into a very large mixing bowl.

Slowly drizzle the Honey Habanero butter mixture over the crackers while gently tossing.

Keep tossing until the crackers are evenly coated.

4. Bake Low & Slow

Spread the coated crackers into an even layer on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake at 250°F for 20–25 minutes, stirring every 7–8 minutes.

This helps the seasoning distribute evenly and allows the coating to become deliciously crisp.

5. Cool & Crisp

Remove from the oven and let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet.

They will become crunchier as they cool.

Break apart any clusters and transfer to a large serving bowl.

🏈 Tailgate Finishing Touch

For an extra game-day kick, lightly drizzle 1–2 teaspoons of Honey Roasted Habanero Hot Sauce over the finished crackers and toss immediately.
