Ingredients
1.5 lbs boneless chicken thighs
1 lb baby potatoes, halved
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt + black pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 small yellow onion, sliced
1 zucchini, chopped
1/2 cup Heat Street Detroit Green Michigan hot sauce
1 tbsp honey
Juice of 1 lime
2 cups cooked cilantro-lime rice
Crumbled cotija or feta
Fresh cilantro
Sliced avocado
Instructions
Step 1: Roast the Potatoes
Preheat oven to 425°F. Toss the halved baby potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Spread evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Step 2: Cook the Chicken
Season the chicken thighs with cumin, salt, and pepper. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side, or until caramelized and cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Verde Glaze
Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the Green Michigan Hot Sauce, honey, and lime juice to the skillet. Stir for about 1 minute until the sauce becomes glossy and slightly thickened.

Step 4: Glaze the Chicken
Slice the cooked chicken into strips and return it to the skillet. Toss until evenly coated in the verde glaze.
Step 5: Char the Vegetables
Add the sliced onion and chopped zucchini to the same skillet. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly blistered and tender.
Step 6: Build the Bowls
Divide the cilantro-lime rice among four bowls. Top with crispy potatoes, charred vegetables, and glazed chicken.
Step 7: Add the Toppings
Finish with sliced avocado, crumbled cotija or feta cheese, fresh cilantro, and an extra drizzle of Heat Street Detroit Green Michigan Hot Sauce.
