Prep Instructions

1. Prepare the Wings

Preheat the oven to 425°F.

Pat the chicken wings very dry with paper towels. This is important for getting the skin crispy.

Place the wings in a large bowl and toss with baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and chili powder until evenly coated.

2. Bake Until Crispy

Arrange the wings in a single layer on a wire rack placed over a foil-lined baking sheet.

Bake for 20 minutes, flip the wings, and continue baking for another 20–25 minutes, or until golden, crispy, and cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.

3. Make the Honey Habanero Glaze

While the wings are cooking, add The 313 Honey Roasted Habanero Hot Sauce, honey, butter, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder to a small saucepan.

Heat over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until the butter has melted and the glaze is smooth and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.

Remove from heat.

4. Sauce the Wings

Transfer the hot, crispy wings to a large bowl.

Pour the warm honey habanero glaze over the wings and toss until every wing is generously coated.

For extra sticky wings, return the sauced wings to the baking sheet and bake for another 3–5 minutes.

5. Serve

Pile the wings onto a platter and garnish with green onions, parsley, or sesame seeds if desired.

Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing, celery, carrots, and an extra bottle of The 313 for anyone who wants to turn up the heat.

Game-Day Tip

Making wings for a crowd? Bake the wings ahead of time and keep them warm, but wait to add the Honey Habanero glaze until just before serving. They'll stay crispier while still delivering that sticky Detroit heat.
